A snarling, 59-second blast of high-voltage punk fury, “Loner” is a sharp critique of media manipulation and its divisive effects—equal parts paranoia and resistance. The track’s instruments were recorded live at Stone Gossard’s Seattle Litho Studio, just days before the band launched their U.S. headline run, with vocals tracked later on their tour bus in Dallas after a stop at the JFK assassination site.
